ENERTREE SOUNDS™

Step Into the Forest: A Multi-Sensory Experience
Imagine standing in the heart of an ancient Nordic forest. The air is crisp, carrying the scent of pine and earth. A soft breeze stirs the branches above, whispering secrets only the trees can hear. But beyond what you can see, beyond what you can feel—what does the forest sound like? What hidden messages are woven into its rhythms, waiting to be heard?
In a world that never stops moving, where we are more “connected” than ever yet feel deeply disconnected, we have lost our ability to listen. We scroll, we consume, we exist in an endless stream of noise—but how often do we truly hear? How often do we pause long enough to sense the deeper pulse of life beneath it all?
ENERTREE SOUNDS™ is an invitation to step into the living pulse of the forest—to listen, to remember, to reconnect. Through biofeedback technology, we can now hear what has always been there—the silent intelligence of trees, the unseen energy flowing through nature, the wisdom of an ancient world translated into sound.
This project is part of Nordic Mindfulness™, an exploration of how nature teaches us Balance, Resilience, Adaptability, Integration, Simplicity, and Synergy (B.R.A.I.S.S.). The forest holds these truths within its very existence—it bends but does not break, it shifts with the seasons, it grows in harmony with everything around it. When we listen to the forest, we listen to the blueprint of life itself.
And in this journey, the trees have become my songwriting partners. The music I create is not mine alone—it is a collaboration between human creativity and nature’s intelligence. The biofeedback signals from trees shape the sound, guiding the melodies, influencing the harmonies. The forest composes, and I translate.
The Journey Unfolds
ENERTREE SOUNDS™ is an evolving sound project, with new compositions, recordings, and immersive experiences unfolding throughout 2024 and 2025. The full release—an album and multi-sensory experience—will be available in 2025, inviting listeners to step fully into the world of Nordic Mindfulness™ through sound, nature, and presence.
This is more than music. This is the forgotten language of the forest, rediscovered through sound.

What is Biofeedback Music?
Everything in nature vibrates with unseen energy—trees, plants, even the ground beneath our feet. Research shows that living organisms generate electrical signals that constantly shift in response to their environment (Baluska & Mancuso, 2009). But what if we could translate these subtle bioelectric patterns into sound—allowing us to hear the unseen rhythms of the natural world?
With biofeedback technology, we can.
Using specialised sensors, we can capture the minute electrical variations of trees and plants, transforming them into sound frequencies. Each tree emits a constantly evolving sequence of signals, shaped by its environment, water intake, and biological rhythms (Gagliano, 2013). No two recordings are ever the same—because no two trees experience the world in exactly the same way.

The result? A living, breathing composition—a collaboration between human creativity and the intelligence of nature.
Recent studies in plant neurobiology suggest that trees and plants may have their own form of perception and responsiveness to external stimuli, challenging traditional views of plant consciousness (Trewavas, 2014). This research supports the idea that trees interact with their environment in complex ways—perhaps even “communicating” through electrical and biochemical signals (Calvo, Sahi, & Trewavas, 2017).
Through my work, I’ve discovered that each tree has its own distinct “voice”—its own rhythm, its own way of responding to the world. While some trees create soft, shimmering tones, others produce deeper, grounding vibrations. Some fluctuate rapidly, as if singing in excitement, while others remain steady and slow, almost meditative. There is no single pattern, no universal rule—only the unique expression of each tree in that exact moment.
When we listen to these sounds, we are not just hearing music—we are experiencing the voice of the forest in a way we never have before.
Why This Matters
We live in a world where noise surrounds us, yet we have forgotten how to truly listen. The deeper rhythms of nature—its wisdom, its intelligence—often go unnoticed. ENERTREE SOUNDS™ is an invitation to remember.
By listening to the biofeedback music of trees, we don’t just hear sound—we experience connection. The trees reflect the unseen energy of the forest, revealing patterns that align with our own natural states of being. Their frequencies remind us of something ancient, something familiar—something we have always known.
This project is not just about music. It is about rediscovering a language beyond words—a way to reconnect with nature, with presence, and with ourselves.
The Connection to Nordic Mindfulness™
ENERTREE SOUNDS™ is part of a larger philosophy—Nordic Mindfulness™—a way of being that embraces the wisdom of nature through Balance, Resilience, Adaptability, Integration, Simplicity, and Synergy (B.R.A.I.S.S.).
The trees live these principles effortlessly. They adapt, they bend, they find harmony in their surroundings. When we listen, we are not just hearing sound—we are receiving a lesson in how to exist in flow with life.

Listen & Experience
For the first time in history, we can hear the voice of the forest in real time. Every composition is a co-creation between the trees and the moment in which they exist.
🎧 Listen to the Trees
Below are small samples—previews of a much larger project where I work with trees to create full compositions. These pieces evolve as the trees respond to their environment, making each track a unique collaboration between nature and sound.
